Forensic Medicine And Toxicology

Introduction

The Forensic department housed closed to the Panagal Hall is a very old building built in the year 1929 and was a part of the Indian School of the Medicine.

Infrastructure

This department houses two demo halls, library, museum and practical hall, records room and research lab.

4Maintaining the Medico-Legal Records.
5Teaching to the MBBS Students, Theory, Practical and Post Mortem Classes.
6Attending the various Court’s as an Expert witness.
7Attending the Sexual Offence cases and Age Estimation cases.
8Bone Examination cases.
9Hyoid Bone Examination cases.
10Doing Spot post mortem and Exhumation.
11Visiting the scene of crime in Medico-Legal Cases.
